Answer:y=6.61,x=-6.46

Explanation:

3x+7y=-26(×5)

-

5x+3y=-14(×3)

=15x+35y=-130

-

15x+9y=-42

subtracting the 2 equations =15x-15x+35y-9y=-130-(-42)

=26y=172

y=172÷26

y=6.61

substitute y in the first equation=3x+6.61=-26

3x=-26+6.61=-19.39

x=-19.39÷3

x=-6.46
