The freezing point of a certain alcohol is -114 celcius. The freezing point of a certain acid is -42 celcius. What is the difference between the freezing point of alcohol and acid?

-114 - (-42)
2) when you are subtracting by a negative number, it is just like adding, so you can just change the equation too:
-114 + 42
