Can someone please help me answer these and explain what to do I'm really confused.

What your doing here is comparison, for example in the second one you would say “The math homework is more boring than the English homework” which is, “Le devoir de maths est plus barbant que le devoir d’anglais.” Or you would say it the opposite way like “The English homework is less boring than the math homework” like “Le devoir d’anglais est moins barbant que le devoir de maths.” I hope you understood it he concept better now.

For the first one, for instance, you have to use the word “romantique” to compare Paris and New York (in that order). For example, “Paris est plus romantique que New York,” or “Paris est moins romantique que le chat.” The answer here is the former. Have I explained all?
