Answer: A. -7 x (-4)

Step-by-step explanation: Keep this in mind when you're multiplying negative numbers, if you're multiplying a negative and another negative, then the outcome will ALWAYS be positive. But when you're multiplying a negative and a positive, then your outcome will be negative. (Same for positive x negative. It'll always be negative.)

Ex. -5 x -9 = 45 See? The outcome is positive. Now let's see the outcome of a negative times a positive.

Ex. -2 x 6 = -12 This time the outcome is a negative. So be sure to remember that when you're multiplying negatives! It helps a lot.

Of course, adding and subtracting are a different story, but I hope you understand how to multiply with negatives now. <3
