Alternate solution to anxiety
In the modern world, there are already numerous solutions to the increasing disease know as "anxiety". Anxiety is your body's natural response to stress. It's a feeling of fear or apprehension about what's to come. It can also be an intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. If left unchecked and untreated, it can become an anxiety disorder.
Different solutions to anxiety that don't include medication are physical activity, a healthy diet, regular sleep, and relaxation exercises. When you do these activities, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, similar to that of morphine. Another treatment that has been proven helpful when battling anxiety are mindfulness exercises. Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.
