Answer: Kashmir

Explanation: As part of their campaign to dominate Asia, the Mongols invaded the Indian subcontinent on many occasions. They were able to make the region of Kashmir a vassal state; however, they were unsuccessful in taking thr Delhi Sultanate, despite their numerous efforts.
