HELP!!! MATH PROBABILITY QUESTIONS!

1. If three 4-sided dice were rolled, what would be the probability of getting triple 1's? Write your answer as a fraction.

2. There are 4 banana smoothies, 1 strawberry smoothie, and 1 watermelon smoothie in the refrigerator. Without looking, what is the probability of pulling out a banana smoothie and then another banana smoothie? (Assume that you don't put the first banana smoothie back in the refrigerator.) Write your answer as a percent.

Answer:

1. odds are 1/64

explanation: to get this you have a 1/4 chance of getting a 1 so 1/4x1/4x1/4= 1/64

2. odds the first pull is 4/6 then the second time odds are 3/5

3/5x4/6. 12/30 which simplifies to 2/5 or 40%
