In 1920 there were more than twice as many states with greater rural populations than urban populations, yet the total population of the United States was more urban than rural. How can you explain this apparent discrepancy?

It’s really by poverty and lies to get more people to come over to some states. Commercials give you this idea that you live here then you’ll be like a modern USA citizen with a white picket fence in the front and three children basically give you an imagine of the “American dream” but once you get there you may not afford the taxes and etc. which leave you into rural population but states won’t say that because it will lead a bad imagine on them
