Shaded Area- 80.4cm

First find the area of the square. The formula is (s^2) so just replace s (side) with 10.
(10^2 = 100)

Next is the area of the circle, and the formula is (pi * r^2) where pi is 3.14 and r is the radius, 2.5.
(3.14 * 2.5^2 = 19.625)

You can now remove the area of the circle from the area of the square.
(100-19.625 = 80.375)
Don’t forget to round to the nearest tenth. The answer is 80.4
