Answer: First, I would like to establish the colony as a direct democratic government. Secondly, the government can print money, enforce and create laws, and create roads and banks. The government will spread the idea that everybody is equal and express the rule of law. The people can vote, wear whatever they want, and send feedback to the government. Citizens also have the right to pursue their basic freedoms. I think this will make the colony more efficient and let the citizens have a part in their community.

I think that best government type discussed in the lesson will make sure my colony operates smoothly is democratic.I chose democracy because democracy is a form of government in which the people have the authority to choose their governing legislation. Who people are and how authority is shared among them are core issues for democratic theory, development and constitution.Therefore I believe that the democratic government will suit my colony perfectly fine.

The powers people living in the colony will have is Right to vote in elections for public officials.Right to apply for federal employment requiring citizenship.Right to run for elected office.Freedom to pursue “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”And Right to equality.

Third,

I believe that the government type that I chose is the best option for my colony because the rulers for the country is directly elected by people. Its the government for the people, by the people. It allows the colony to correct our mistakes.I also believe that we will all be equal and will have multiple rights and freedom that will be equal to everyone.In addition, I do believe that a democracy is the best option of government for my people living in the colony because a democracy government is one that is legitimate.
