What is Bone Marrow
Bone marrow is described as the soft, spongy, gelatinous tissue which is found in the hollow spaces in the interior of bones.
Red marrow is found mainly in the flat bones such as the hip bone, breast bone, skull, ribs, etc and in the spongy material at the proximal ends of the long bones of the femur and humerus.
Pink Marrow can be found in the hollow interior around the middle portion of long bones.
