Slime molds are very interesting organisms. When conditions are good, they live as
single celled organisms, however, if conditions such as temperature are not right, the
individual cells will combine together to form a single creeping "blob" with many nuclei.
Some species have earned the names dog vomit slime and wolf's milk slime. Through
research, biologists have determined that these single celled organisms live on mulch
or
wet decayed wood, have membrane bound organelles, do not have chitin in their cell
walls and do not contain chlorophyll. In which kingdom do these organisms most likely
belong?
O Plantae
