We are going to find the distance between points A -4; 2, B 3; -5 :
d = √ (xb - xa) 2 + (yb - ya) 2 =
= √ (3 - (-4)) 2 + (-5 - 2) 2 =
= √72 + (-7) 2 = √49 + 49 =
= √98
= 7√2 ≈ 9.899494936611665
