Let's find

  • (f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)
  • 10x+7=6x+2+g(x)
  • g(x)=10x-6x+7-2
  • g(x)=4x+5

Option D

Answer:

g(x) = 4x + 5

Explanation:

f(x) + g(x) = 10x + 7 , then

6x + 2 + g(x) = 10x + 7 ← subtract 6x + 2 from both sides

g(x) = 10x + 7 - 6x - 2 ← collect like terms

g(x) = 4x + 5
