Andrew collects stamps. He collected a total of 225 stamps. If 88​% of the stamps he collected were​ foreign, how many other stamps did he​ collect?

Answer:

28 other stamps

Explanation:

if you take the 88 percent and turn it into a decimal you get .88 Than you multiply .88 times the 225 stamps and that gives you 198 stamps. But that is not the answer because that is the number for foreign stamps and its asking how many other stamps are there. so you would do 225-198 stamps and get the left over 27 stamps!
