Mark the points A(10, 10), B(22, 2), C(30, 8), and D(12, 20), and connect them to form a quadrilateral. Measure the slopes of the sides of the quadrilateral, and note them in the table.

Answer:

The answer to your question is below

Explanation:

Data

A = (10, 10)

B = (22, 2)

C = (30, 8)

D = (12, 20)

Process

From the graph, I conclude that I must determine the slope of AB, BC, CD and AD.

Formula

slope = m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

1.- Find the slope of AB

m = (2 - 10)/ (22 - 10)

m = -8/12

m = -4/6

m = -2/3

2.- Find the slope of BC

m = (8 - 2) / (30 -22)

m = 6 / 8

m = 3/4

3.- Find the slope of CD

m = (20 - 8) / (12 - 30)

m = 12 / -18

m = -6/9

m = -2/3

4.- Find the slope of AD

m = (20 - 10)/ (12 - 10)

m = 10/2

m = 5

Mark the points A(10, 10), B(22, 2), C(30, 8), and D(12, 20), and connect them to-example-1
