A unicycle wheel has a diameter of 25 inches. How many inches will the unicycle travel in 4 revolutions?

In order to calculate the distance that the unicycle will travel in 4 revolutions we first need to know the length of it's wheel, this is calculated by using the formula bellow:

length = 2*pi*r

Where r is the radius of the wheel that is equal to r = d/2

length = 2*pi*(d/2) = 2*3.14*(25/2) = 3.14*25 = 78.5 inches

If the wheel made 4 complete revolutions then the distance travelled was 4 times the length of it's wheels. We have:

distance = 4*length = 4*78.5 = 314 inches

The distance travelled was 314 inches.
