At first, how did Americans feel about the U.S. getting involved in WWII?

2. Why did American attitudes toward the war change?

They were deciding whether to fight in the war or not because we became isolationists after WW1. We didn’t want to lose any more soldiers.

Their attitudes changed when Japan attacked America’s pear harbor. After that attack, they had not choice but to get revenge and bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and because of that they got involved in the war.

Hoped this helped!
