Answer:

(Head and D) = 1/10

(Tails and A or D) = 1/5

Explanation:

A coin has two sides so that a 50% chance that it will land on heads or tails

A pentagonal spinner has a 40% chance that it will land on D or A.

P (Heads) = 1/2

P (D)= 1/5

1/2 · 1/5 = 1/10

P (Heads and D) = 1/10

P (Tails) = 1/2

P(A or D) = 2/5

1/2 · 2/5 = 1/5

P (Tails and A or D) = 1/5
