What will happen to the population of dolphins if the sharks die out?

I'm aware they would increase but after awhile all of the food would be eaten and they would die out.

So i'm confused on if they would increase or decrease.

i don't think anything would happen because honestly dolphins have known to kill sharks therfore sharks would try to stay away from dolphins.
