Nature’s first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf’s a flower;

But only so an hour.

This poem is titled Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost. For me this poem relates to my life because it means nothing lasts forever. The imagery "So dawn goes down to day" describes how a new day starts every 24 hours, and things are constantly changing. Another line of imagery is "Her early leafs a flower, but only so an hour" which is a metaophor for fleeting youth and life passing by. The tone is about the importance of precious moments in life. The mood is ever changing and growing, about losing your youth so quickly.
