Answer:

This is for Edge :D

Step-by-step explanation:

This part in the poem is referring to the plane crash into the tilted towers, 19 years ago. when 9/11 happened the 2 building fell to the ground from the destruction that had been caused to them so when he says "It's lonely up here without my big twin brothers, the World Trade Center Towers." —“Empire State Building,” J. Patrick Lewis. He is referring to when 9/11 happened because the building are no longer there because of the destruction that had been caused to them

I got the question correct don't worry and it's in my own words! :)

These lines describe the loss of the identity of the city though the loss of the empire state buildings.

Step-by-step explanation:

The world trade center ad the twin towers of the empire state building had been the center and the symbol of US commerce for a long time and were a reminder of its financial power.

They were attacked and torn down and thus the poem concerns with the twin towers.

The poem talks from the perspective of a bird in the sky or perhaps anything in the skyline that misses the grandeur of the two buildings talking about the loss of what was unthinkable to lose.
