A polyhedron, can be seen as a solid shape with many plane figures, forming its sides. Examples of polyhedrons are cuboids, squares and pyramids. As you can see, these solid shapes have flat sides.

On the other hand, a non polyhedron is a solid shape that has curved surfaces. Examples include: cones, spheres and cylinders.

Hence polyhedron: No curved surface

Non polyhedron: curved surface
