Answer:

x=p(m-n)

Explanation:

m=n+(x)/(p)

Put n to the other side by subtraction.

m(-n)=n(-n)+(x)/(p)\\m-n=+(x)/(p)\\

Use multiplication with 'p' to isolate x.

(p)(m-n)=(x)/(p)(p)\\ p(m-n)=x

x is now isolated.

x=p(m-n)

m = n + (x)/(p) \\ pm = pn + x \\ x = pm - pn \\ or \\ x = p(m - n)
