Which equation represents a line which is perpendicular to the line y = – 4/5+ 2

4x - 5y =-25
4y – 5x = -12

Start by putting equations in y equals form.
Add opposite sign x to the other side.
Divide by coefficient of y.
Y equals 7 minus 5/4X
Y equals 5 minus 4/5x
Y equals -3 plus 5/4X
Y equals -6 minus 4/5x
Perpendicular line is opposite slope.
Have -4/5 so want 5/4 as slope.
Only one is possible because of + sign.
The answer is the third one.
