Vertex is found by -b/2a. A is 5. B is 20. C is -16.
Take -20/(2 times 5)
Which is -20/10
That is -2
-2 is the answer for x coordinate.
Plug -2 into function to get 20+(-40)+(-16)
Which is -36.
So we get (-2, -36)

Answer:

(-2, -36)

Explanation:

This is written in Standard Form

f(x)=5x^(2) +20x-16

ax^(2) +bx+c

Convert to vertex form.

f(x)=a(x-h)^(2)+k

f(x)=5(x+2)^(2)-36
