Answer:

You have to factor the equation and the way you do this is to find two numbers that multiply to get -15 and add to get -2 and those numbers are 3 and -5 so the factors are (x+3) and (x-5)

You set them equal to 0 and solve for x

x+3=0 x=-3

x-5=0 x=5

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT: x=5!
