In a jurisdiction that has abolished felony-murder rule, but otherwise follows CL murder, Sally and Ralph, both armed with weapons, went into a bank to rob it. Ralph ordered all persons in bank to lie on floor. When some were slow to obey, Sally not intending to hit anyone, fired about 15 rounds into the air. One of these ricocheted off a stone column and struck and killed a customer in the bank. Sally and Ralph were charged with murder of the customer. Which is correct? BOTH CAN BE CONVICTED OF MURDER!!!!

Answer:

BOTH CAN BE CONVICTED OF MURDER

Step-by-step explanation:

Form the scenario given above, both robbers can be convicted of muder as a result of participating in the robbery together. In CL muder rule, any individual or group of individual that plans and execute an act together would get equal treatment when in the face of law court.

This shows that, since both came to the bad same time and engage in robbery together leading to the death of a bank customer (Though not intentionally done ), the law court would convit them of muder unlike the felony-murder rule which treat each cse on its individual merits.
