Pls help! I really need help! This is my question..

A sample of iron has dimensions of 2 cm x 4 cm x 6 cm and a mass of 100g. What is the density of the sample?

Answer:

density= 2 and 1/2

Explanation:

The formula to find density is: density=
(mass)/(volume)

so the mass is 100, and the volume is 2x4=8x6=48, 100/48 equals 2 and 1/2
