Add 10 to -10 and to +2 then you get 9x=3x+12
So what you got to do is minus 9 from 9x and minus 9 from 3x then what you get is -6x+12
Then you get the answer which is positive 6x

Answer:

The answer to this equation is x=2.

Explanation:

9x-10=3x +9

You add 10 to both sides

9x-10+10 =3x+2+10

Simplify

9x+ 3x+12

Subract 3x from both sides

9x-3x=3x+12-3x

Simplify

6x=12

Divide both sides by 6

6x/6 = 12/6

Your answer: x=2
