Could Tsar Nicholas II have done anything different in order to stay in power and prevent the Russian Revolutions from taking place? If so, what? If not, why not?

He could have allowed political sanctions before hand.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Tsar did not have much chose int he matter of the revolution as he had come to the rule relatively late and had spent most of his time worrying abut the complex mechanics of the foreign policy of the European powers and the first world war.

The time that he had he did not invest in the people and their steady demand for rights and freedom to govern.

If he could have laid emphasis here he may have saved his throne for a little longer.
