Midpoint =
(x_(1)+x_(2) )/(2), (y_(1)+y_(2) )/(2)

=
\frac{12_{}+18_{} }{2}, \frac{8_{}+2_{} }{2}

= 15,5 (which is closest to C, i think there is a mistake in the question as there is only one formula to find midpoint so y coordinate has to be 5)

Explanation:

the formula for the mid point is:

{(x1 + x2)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2}

so using the formula we get:

(15, 5)

also are you sure that the question wants the midpoint? since the answer is not included in the choices
