There are 3 different forms of functions:

  • Standard Form [ f(x) = ax² + bx + c ]
  • Intercept Form [ f(x) = a(x - p)(x - q) ]
  • Vertex Form [ f(x) = a(x - h)² + k ]

y + 2 = -(x + 4)² is an example of vertex form of a parabola [ (h, k) is the vertex ]

The vertex of the function is (-2, -4)

Therefore, the answer is Vertex Form.

Best of Luck!
