An oblique prism is created using rohmbuses with the edge lengths of 25 units. The area of one rhombus is 600 square units. The perpendicular distance between the bases is 24 units.

What is the volume of the prism?

Given:

The length of each edge of rhombus = 25 unit

The area of one rhombus is 600 square units.

The perpendicular distance between the bases is 24 units.

To find the volume of the prism.

Formula

The volume of the prism

V = Bh

where, B is area of one rhombus

h be the height.

Now,

Putting, B = 600 , h = 24 we get,

V = (600)(24) cube unit

or, V = 14400 cube unit

Hence,

The volume of the prism 14400 cube unit.
