This excerpt is from ' Cell One'

Step-by-step explanation:

C. two policemen were flogging a man with Koboko as we drove into the police station. At first, I thought it was Nnamabia, and then I thought it was the old man from his cell.

The question is incomplete.

The first time, a neighbor stole the TV and VCR from their house and second time, Nnambaia stole the jewelry. The speaker knew he had taken it because there were certain things he had done earlier.

After a few days, he returned home and felt sorry for the mistake. He confessed that he had taken the jewelry and now all the money had gone.
