So the area of a circle is pi x the radius squared.
To find the radius we need to half the diameter so 2.85mm
Next we need to square this so 2.85 x 2.85 = 8.1225mm
The area = pi x 8.1225
= 25.51758633mmsquared
= 25.5 mmsquared
