The area of a rectangle is 56 cm. The length is 2 cm more then x and the width is 5 cm less than twice x. Solve for x. ROund to the nearest whole number.

x^{2} -3x=46

Explanation:

First, we know that the area of the rectangle is L x W.


L= x+2\\W= x-5\\(x+2) * (x-5)=56

So, we would get
x^(2) -5x+2x-10=56
