Until 2008, health authorities recommended delaying introduction of peanuts to the diets of children as a way to prevent peanut allergies, but after 2008, these restrictions were relaxed.

Why did clinical practice guidelines change?

Answer: The change in guidelines is that it has been said there should be mixing of small amounts of peanuts in the food that is given to infants in order to cope or prevent the allergies caused by them.

Step-by-step explanation:

Until 2008, it was said that there must not introduction of the peanuts in the food of the infants when they are at an early age.

Basically the infants are not able to express so it becomes difficult to cure if the problem persists.

So to avoid this situation it was been told that children should not be given food containing peanuts.

But after that it has been advised to add it in the food to prevent allergies in future.
