Given:

The diameter of the sphere = 42 cm

To find the volume of the given sphere.

Formula:

The volume of a sphere is given by
V=(4)/(3) \pi r^3

The radius is given by
r=(d)/(2)=(42)/(2)=21

Volume of the sphere:

The volume of the sphere is given by

V=(4)/(3) (3.14)(21)^3

Simplifying, we get;

V=(4)/(3)(3.14)(9261)

Multiplying the terms, we have;

V=(116318.16)/(3)

Dividing, we get;

V=38772.7

Thus, the volume of the sphere is 38772.7 cubic cm.
