Threats to beluga whales include climate change, hunting, oil and gas development, and industrial and urban pollution. Beluga whales are very interesting creatures. They are one of the smallest whales to exist and are easily identifiable with their predominate foreheads. This beluga whale is traveling with its mother, learning how to echo-locate and swim. The pair swim through the sea, waiting to find their meal. As they swim to the fish of prey, they sneakily come up to it. The fish doesn't notice and the baby beluga eats its first meal.
