sin(x + 34)°=cos(2x+20)°

⇒ tan
(x+34)/(2x+20) = 1 ; [assuming cos (2x+20)°

⇒ x + 34 = 45 × ( 2x +20)

⇒ x + 34 = 90x + 900

⇒ 89x = -866

⇒ x = -9.73

and also 2x + 20 = 90° ⇒ x = 35°; but this does not satisfy the given equation.

Therefore the value of x is given by -9.73°.
