The three sides of a triangle are n, 3n+5, and 5n−5. If the perimeter of the triangle is 63 cm, what is the length of each side?

Find n :

P = n + (3n + 5) + (5n - 5)

63 = (n + 3n + 5n) + (5 - 5)

63 = 9n

n = 63 ÷ 9

n = 7

Sides :

1.) n = 7

2.) 3n + 5 = 3(7) + 5 = 21 + 5 = 26

3.) 5n - 5 = 5(7) - 5 = 35 - 5 = 30
