Angel transformed the following equation from 6x+4-x=2(x+1). He then stated that the solution to the equation is x=4. Is he correct? Explain​

No he is not correct. The answer should be x=-2/3 because you distribute the 2 in the equation, which will make the equation 2x+2. The u have to subtract 6x-x which equals 5x. Now you have to move the 4 to the other side so the equation will read 5x=2x-2.Then u just have to subtract the 2x from one side and move it to the other then divide by 3 and u get x=-2/3
