6 - √(5) * (6 + √(5) )/(6 + √(5) )

$\frac{(6 - \sqrt[]{5})(6 + √(5) ) }{6 + √(5) } = (36 - 5)/(6 + √(5) ) = (31)/(6 + √(5) )$
