Explanation:

Hello! In order to find the total volume, you need to find the volume of the two rectangular prisms. Make sure to cross a line into how you will define them (check the picture to see how I defined it).

To find the volume of the first rectangular prism, multiply the three dimensions.


8*5*3 = 120 m^3

Now, the second rectangular prism gives you:


6*2*8 = 96m^3

Add the volumes of the two rectangular prisms:


120 + 96 = 216 m^3
