AREA- 488 cm squared...

Area of the Rectangle is 374 cm squared.

Area of rectangle: l x w

17 x 22 = 374

Area of the Triangle is 114 cm squared

Since the full side is 22, you will subtract 10 from the other side to find the height of the triangle.

22 - 10 = 12

Area of Triangle: b*h*1/2

12 * 19 = 228

228 * 1/2 = 114

Add the areas, and you get 488 cm squared.

Answer:

Area for rectangle = B*H

Area for triangle = B*H/2

total area = area of triangle + area of rectangle

A of rectangle = 17 * 22 = 374 cm²

Triangle height is not giving so we take 22-10 = 12 cm for the height so

A of triangle = 12*19/2 = 114 cm²

total A = 114 + 374 = 488 cm²
