Explanation:

The way to check if a graph is a function is by the vertical line test.

If, anywhere on the graph, a vertical line passes through the graph at more than one point then it is NOT a function.

So we see that the graph on the top left is not a function because we can draw a vertical line through the diamond shaped graph which pass through the graph at 2 points.

The same applies to graph 2:- its not a function for the same reason.

However Graph 6 is a function because any vertical line drawn will only pass through the graph at one point.

Graph 3 is a function for the same reason.

Graph 4 is not a function because a vertical line passes through the 2 dots on the right.

What about Graph 5?
