multiply the numerator AND denominator by the same nonzero whole number, as long as you multiply both by the same whole number.

Answer/Step-by-step explanation:

Multiplying similar fractions is the same as multiplying any other fractions. First, multiply the 2 numerators, and do the same for the denominators. The outcome of such will be: numerator solution/denominator solution.
