Health care should be provided at the point of transitioning because it is very important. In hormone replacement therapy, trans women are always treated with estrogen and complementary anti-androgenic therapy while trans men are treated with exogenous testosterone which helps to stop menstruation, increase hair and muscle growth and so on.
The sex reassignment surgery helps to make alignment of secondary sexual characteristics of transgender to their gender identity. Trans are mostly opportunity for adolescents and sometimes youths. Sometimes, puberty blocker is used. Many trans individuals face many risk due to less support from family and friends which can result in depression. FNP work in producing help to trans men and women.
