Explanation:

Lets set f(x) aka y to 0 because you want a y intercept first

0 = (x+6)(x-3)

Now lets set each equal to 0 and solve

0 = x + 6

-6 -6

Now that we have what equals when y is 0 and it is corresponding to one of the answers you do not need to try the other. The answer is (-6,0)
